Cluny Convent High School, Jalahalli, celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2019 to raise awareness of the many
benefits of practicing yoga. The students from Middle School and the High School performed various asanas under the guidance of their yoga teacher Mrs. Annapurna.
Yoga is a compulsory subject and an integral part of the school programme. We believe that the physical and mental health of individuals is enhanced through sustained training in yoga, as well as the inculcation of discipline and healthy habits. Hence school conduct yoga within the daily timetable of activities, with the services of a quality and experienced yoga instructor.
Karate classes is an intrinsic part of the primary school Timetable. Technique over strength, tactics over aggression is the driving force behind the karate classes besides providing confidence that can take control of bad situations and focusing on proper balance to move the body in everyday thing. It teaches the students where the power punch comes from and how to direct that power. Karate is a way of life.
